Vahram Martirosyan Discusses Business Idea Development and Opportunity Assessment
< 1 min readYEREVAN, Armenia – On September 29, 2015, the American University of Armenia (AUA) College of Business and Economics (CBE) hosted Vahram Martirosyan, Founding CEO of Zangi Livecom Pte. Ltd., for a lecture on “Business Idea Development and Opportunity Assessment.” The lecture covered the peculiarities of the Armenian IT market, innovative start-up ideas, the developing technological community, and the goals and plans for further promotion and expansion of the IT field in Armenia.
Mr. Martirosyan began his lecture by introducing one of his products, “Zangi,” a new-generation application enabling high quality live communication with the lowest possible Internet bandwidth. He discussed the development of the application and its further transformation into a competitive IT product. The lecture then focused on start-up businesses in Armenia, as well as the misapprehension and unjustified overuse of the term “start-up.”
Mr. Martirosyan graduated from the State Engineering University of Armenia and has been working in the IT field for 15 years.
